The plan:
The plan is quite simple but still not defined and finalised yet. Dates are 15th to 25th of April 2019 but not final, depends on Vlad’s visa conditions and international flight’s availability. Also third party’s interests and plans are involved. However both activations will happen in any case in April 2019. Dixi. Vlad will fly from Chisinau, Moldova and Andy from Adelaide, SA to Perth, WA. When met together the pair will fly to Geraldton, WA.
From that moment 2 options have same probability:
A. Stay at Geraldton overnight, buying food and water. Next morning fly to Houtman Abrolhos OC-211, install antennas and operate from there for 4 days. After that fly back to Geraldton, get a rent car to drive 200+ km to Jurien Bay, WA. Buy there water, food, petrol, stay there overnight and get to Favorite Island OC-183 by a boat as early in the morning as possibly. Operate from there for 4 days, move back to Jurien Bay, pick up rent car patiently waiting for us and drive back to Geraldton. Organize delivery of cargo to Adelaide via courier service, stay overnight and fly to Perth with earliest flight. Vlad will fly back home to Europe, Andy – to Adelaide.

Regular upload of logs will be available at OC-183 but may not be available at OC-211 (80 km from mainland, very unstable and weak coverage). In such case the log will be uploaded to ClubLog immediately upon arrival to mainland. For operational contacts we’ll have a satphone but for emergency calls only. All changes in plans and dates will be advertised widely on internet, qrz.com and Facebook.
